Ziina is a payments app for businesses and individuals in the UAE. Businesses use it to get paid, with payment links, a payment gateway, and Tap to Pay on phones. People use it to pay friends. The Central Bank of the UAE licenses it. Three siblings founded Ziina in Dubai in 2020, and it joined Y Combinator in 2021.

• Product and design: a product designer and a senior content designer. The content designer is Ziina's first content hire.
• People: a talent specialist who recruits for teams across the company.
• Compliance: a head of internal audit, the first in that role. This person reports to the Board, and the Central Bank of the UAE must approve the hire.

The Postings name a minimum of 3+ to 7+ years of experience. Nine Postings ask for ownership, and seven ask for clear communication. Seven ask for use of AI tools in daily work. Eight value experience in fintech or payments. The two backend Postings value experience with systems that handle money. The engineering stack is TypeScript, Node.js, and Nest.js on the backend, Next.js and React on the web, GraphQL, Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Kubernetes. The web and internal tools roles ask for React, Next.js, and TypeScript. The senior platform role asks for AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes. Both designers work in Figma.
