Where they hire

Vanta is remote first in the US, and many engineering roles are also remote in Canada. London and Dublin roles are hybrid, in the office Tuesday to Thursday. Sales development roles in San Francisco and New York are hybrid. Many US roles require work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Teams and roles

Most engineering roles are senior, staff, or principal, plus engineering managers. The stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, GitHub Actions, and AWS services such as Fargate and ECS. Kafka and Postgres also appear.

Vanta screens all hires for its principles. Many engineers succeed at Vanta without earlier security experience. The site does not describe the interview steps. Only humans make hiring decisions. Candidates must disclose AI use. AI is allowed for research and polish, but not for invented experience, scripted live answers, or full take-home work.
