Uniphore calls itself the Business AI company. Its platform connects enterprise data, fine-tunes AI models on it, and runs agentic AI across a customer's business, with sovereign and composable deployment as the selling point. It says more than 2,000 businesses use it. It grew out of conversational AI for contact centres and now sells a broader enterprise AI platform.

Most open roles are at the Palo Alto headquarters. The rest are in London, New York, Dubai, and remote in the United States. India is a small part of this board: three engineering roles in Bangalore, two of which also name Chennai, out of thirty-eight.

Teams and roles

The board is weighted towards senior go-to-market and leadership roles.

• Forward deployed engineering: principal, staff, and senior engineers who sit with customers, plus an enterprise data architect. Mostly Palo Alto and London.
• AI engineering and science: a VP of AI Engineering, a staff AI scientist, and senior AI engineers, in Palo Alto.
• Security engineering: a principal engineer for AI security and security operations in Bangalore, and a senior engineer for identity and machine access in Bangalore and Chennai.
• Quality engineering: a senior staff SDET in Bangalore and Chennai, owning test automation for the AI and SaaS platforms.
• Sales and accounts: client directors, strategic client executives, sales directors, and partnership directors, across the US, London, and Dubai.
• Marketing and communications: regional marketing, thought leadership, content, digital experience, and executive communications.

Every Indian role is individual contributor engineering at principal or staff level.

What they look for

Engineering roles ask for production work on cloud platforms, and the security roles name their tooling, such as Wiz, and ask for detection, response, and automation rather than monitoring shifts. The SDET role asks for automation frameworks across API, UI, and data, and for validating AI and machine learning workflows. Sales roles ask for named enterprise accounts carried end to end with ARR figures. The postings do not describe the interview steps.
