What they look for
The careers page asks for people who are precise, curious, and motivated by work with real consequences. Engineering and product roles ask for an engineering degree. The two mechanical roles ask for a degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute, CAD skill with Solid Edge preferred, and GD&T knowledge. The software and firmware roles ask for C or C++ and strong debugging skills. The robotics software role also asks for Python, Linux, and ROS. The full-stack manager role asks for JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, and six to nine years of experience.
Experience runs from one to three years for the sales operations and project coordinator roles to twelve years or more for the sales director and engineering manager. Many postings prefer experience in robotics, warehouse automation, or logistics. Many also ask for experience in a fast-paced environment. The finance posting says that it hires on demonstrated capability, not on credentials.
The careers page says that every job offer follows a formal interview process. It also says that Unbox Robotics never asks candidates for payment. The postings do not describe the interview steps.
