What they look for

Engineering postings ask for a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science and a set number of years. Senior software engineers need five to seven years, with Java or another modern language, distributed systems, microservices, Kubernetes, and AWS, GCP, or Azure. Some ask how well the candidate codes with AI tools. Staff engineers need seven to ten years, and managers ten years or more. Customer roles ask for dealership knowledge and up to 50% travel.
