Spyne jobs, judged for you, free

What they do

Spyne builds AI software for car dealers, mostly in the US. Studio AI turns phone photos of cars into images ready for a listing. Vini AI is an agent that answers dealer sales and service calls and web leads. More than 2,000 dealerships use Spyne. It is a Series B company backed by Accel, Vertex Ventures, and Storm Ventures.

What they value

• Put the customer at the center of everything.
• Speed is more important than perfection.
• Take extreme ownership of outcomes, not tasks.
• Hire only the best and invest in them.
• Think 10x and solve problems at the root.

Where they hire

Almost every opening is in Gurugram (Gurgaon), in the office. Many sales, customer success, and operations roles work US hours, about 6 PM to 3 AM IST. Some leadership roles overlap only half of the US day. The postings say nothing about visa sponsorship.

Teams and roles

• Sales and go-to-market: sales development, account executives, a US sales manager, partnerships, and growth marketing, all selling to US dealers.
• Customer success: customer success managers who own renewals and upsells.
• Product: AI product managers, forward deployed engineers who set up the product for dealers, and a director of product.
• Technology: backend, data, DevOps, and security engineers, and engineering leaders.
• CEO's office: a chief of staff and program and strategy roles.

Spyne also hires interns who can convert to full-time roles.

What they look for

Postings ask for speed, ownership, and comfort with a fast-changing startup. Almost every role asks for daily use of AI tools. Engineering roles ask for Node.js or Python, SQL and NoSQL databases, AWS, and Docker. Sales and success roles ask for experience with US customers. Some roles prefer graduates of top colleges, such as the IITs, BITS, or the IIMs.
