• Trades: refrigeration mechanics, painters, an electrician, and bus drivers.
• Facilities: workplace experience facilities managers and coordinators, a regional cleaning business lead, and an operations manager.
• Safety: an HSE manager and HSE advisors. HSE means health, safety, and environment.

What they look for

Postings print the roster and the hours in the job title, such as Monday to Friday, 38 hours, or an eight days on and six days off roster. Frontline postings ask for attitude and a willingness to travel rather than qualifications: 34 of the 100 postings read are marked entry level and 41 state no experience level at all. Trade and management postings are stricter. The HSE manager posting asks for senior health and safety experience in remote or resource environments, a construction background, strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and ISO standards, and weekly travel to remote sites.
