The company, in brief.
What they do
Slurrp Farm makes food for children from millets such as ragi, jowar, and foxtail millet. The range has cereals, cookies, pancake and dosa mixes, noodles, and pasta. Two mothers started it. Its parent company, Wholsum Foods, also owns Mille, a nutrition brand. The products sell on its own site, on Amazon, Blinkit, and Zepto, and in stores.
What they value
- Relationship first.
- Dependable.
- Passionate.
- Growth mindset.
- Do no harm to the planet: it pays for the recycling of as much plastic as it uses in a year.
- An equal opportunity workplace that values diversity.
Where they hire
All eight open roles are in Gurugram, India. Most postings name the office on Golf Course Road. The marketing internship is work from office, five days a week. The HR manager role has a five-day week with Wednesday worked from home. The postings say nothing about visas or sponsorship.
Teams and roles
The employer on the board is Wholsum Foods, and the roles serve both brands. There are no engineering roles on the board.
- Marketing: a brand marketing role for the kids snacking and breakfast products. It runs campaigns, packaging artwork approvals, competitor tracking, and the social media calendar. A paid marketing intern works on events, sampling, and content with run clubs, gyms, and small influencers.
- Mille: a social media role whose listed duties match the brand marketing role.
- New product development: a manager who develops clean-label products from formulation to scale-up. The role works with co-manufacturers and keeps products within FSSAI, FDA, and EU rules.
- Operations: a procurement associate who buys raw materials and packaging, and an ecommerce operations role that plans demand and keeps products in stock across channels.
- Finance: a cost accountant who owns product costing, stock reconciliation, and month-end closing.
- People and Culture: an HR business partner for the business leaders.
What they look for
Most roles ask for two to five years of experience. The HR manager role asks for nine to twelve years, and the internship takes students and recent graduates. Several postings prefer experience in FMCG. Some requirements are mandatory. The product development role needs a B.Tech or M.Tech in Food Technology. The procurement role needs experience in buying food commodities and a working knowledge of Tally. The ecommerce operations role needs earlier ecommerce operations experience. The cost accountant must be a CMA or have cost accounting experience. Postings repeat ownership, analytical skill, and the ability to coordinate across teams and vendors. Six of the eight postings give a pay range. The postings do not describe the interview steps.
