The company, in brief.
What they do
Skyflow makes a data privacy vault. Companies use it to isolate, protect, and govern sensitive data, such as personal, health, and payment data. It also controls the sensitive data that flows through AI models and agents. Customers are in financial services, healthcare, retail, and travel. Skyflow started in 2019.
What they value
- Solve the data privacy problem with a simple API.
- Diverse teams are the strongest teams.
- Be hands-on.
- Ambitious, talented, and supportive colleagues.
- A flexible workplace and schedule.
Where they hire
Six of the twelve open roles are in the United States, four are in India, one is in Dubai, and one is in Latin America. Most are marked remote. Two US sales roles say hybrid, and one of them names San Francisco. The Latin America role works US Pacific hours. The India sales role works US or EMEA hours.
Teams and roles
Engineering and sales have five open roles each. Product and marketing have one each.
- Backend engineering: a software engineer in the US and a senior software engineer in India. They design and build privacy APIs and the backend infrastructure for data and privacy workflows. The work needs low latency and high throughput.
- Machine learning: a senior engineer in India who builds, trains, and deploys models. The work includes NLP, named entity recognition, and fine-tuning of open source models.
- Platform and reliability: a senior engineer in India and an engineer in Latin America. They write Go and Python to automate cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP. The platform runs multi-tenant environments and deployments into customer cloud accounts. The stack includes Kubernetes, Terraform or OpenTofu, Istio, Aerospike, PostgreSQL, and Kafka. Both roles are on call.
- Sales: account executives in the US, one for AI and digital native companies and one for partners that embed Skyflow in their products. A strategic account executive in Dubai builds the Middle East territory. A sales development representative in India makes cold calls to US or EMEA buyers. An enterprise solutions architect in the US runs demos and proofs of concept.
- Product: an AI product lead for Secure Data Flows, the product area that connects Skyflow to customer systems.
- Marketing: a product marketing manager who owns messaging, launches, and sales enablement.
What they look for
Engineering roles ask for Go or Python, and the backend roles prefer Go. They ask for experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems and a deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems. They also ask for continuous integration and test-driven development. Privacy or authentication engineering is a plus. The senior software engineer needs five or more years. The senior machine learning and senior platform roles need eight or more. Platform roles need Kubernetes in production and one major public cloud.
The account executive for AI and digital native companies needs five or more years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales, and the Dubai role needs eight or more. Both ask for six-figure deals, a structured method such as MEDDICC, and selling to technical and executive buyers. The partner account executive posting states no years. The sales development role needs three to five years and 100 or more calls a day. The product lead needs three or more years of technical product management.
No posting states pay. Most list equity, a home office expense, health insurance, and paid time off. The postings do not describe the interview steps.
