The customer success role wants UTC-3 to UTC-8, and backend roles want overlap with Americas hours. Roles expect some travel to offsites and conferences. Teams and roles

• Platform security: the first dedicated security hire, who owns API keys, secrets, tenant isolation (keeping each customer's data apart), and detection.
• Customer success: a support engineer who fixes bugs and trains the AI support agent.
• Sales: a Technical Account Executive who builds the sales playbook with the founders.

Pay ranges are from $120,000 to $180,000 USD, and the sales role is $160,000 to $220,000 OTE (on-target earnings: base pay plus expected commission).

What they look for

Product and backend engineering Postings ask for fluent written and spoken English. Product engineers need 6 or more years of shipping web products, with TypeScript and React. Backend engineers need 8 or more years of running backend services, with queues, distributed systems, and infrastructure as code (servers set up from code files) such as Terraform. Node.js, Go, Postgres, and AWS are a plus. Customer success wants 3 to 5 years of technical support. Every Posting asks for a low ego and care for developer experience, and most ask for ownership. Most roles also mention email deliverability, DNS, or webhooks.
