• Machine learning: a machine learning researcher for agentic science. The role builds agentic systems that model biological processes, and in-context learning models for molecules. It works closely with chemists and biologists and publishes results.
• General interest: an opening for people who do not see a role that fits.

The researcher role pays $200k to $300k, with 0.05 to 0.1 percent equity.

What they look for

The machine learning researcher needs a PhD in machine learning or in STEM research that developed new machine learning methods. The role asks for a record of high-quality research, such as papers and open-source work. It also asks for hands-on model training in Python with PyTorch or JAX, and careful experiments and ablations. Prior drug discovery experience is not required.
