Nango connects products and AI agents to more than 1,000 APIs. It handles OAuth, API keys, and token refresh. It also runs data syncs, webhooks, and triggers, and gives agents integrations as tools. Integrations are code. Nango is open source and self-hostable. It has more than 700 paying customers, including ServiceNow and Replit.

Teams and roles

Nango was in the Y Combinator Winter 2023 batch. It is a team of 20 from AWS, GitHub, Okta, Snyk, and other tech companies. Five roles are founding roles.

• Engineering: senior+ full-stack engineers, who build the API, the runtime, the dashboard, SDKs, the CLI, and MCP. Also a founding forward deployed engineer, who works with customers on calls and in pairing sessions.
• GTM: a founding enterprise account executive, a GTM engineer, a growth and marketing lead, and a developer relations lead. Also a freelance technical content engineer, and an open role for former and future founders.

Every posting states a pay range. The full-time roles add equity. The content role pays $30 to $150 an hour.

What they look for

The full-stack and forward deployed roles ask for five or more years of engineering. The full-stack role wants strong backend fundamentals and TypeScript, from Node.js services to React. The GTM engineer role also wants TypeScript, web apps, APIs, and data. Many postings ask for clear communication with developers and work with customers. The account executive role wants a record of complex deals for a technical product. The growth lead role wants growth or marketing work for developer tools. Several postings ask for work with AI agents or MCP. The postings do not describe the interview steps.
