What they look for

Every Posting opens with the same question: do you want to make the lives of Filipinos better every day? Most Postings state a number of years of experience. The range is from 2 years to 12 years, and 5 or 6 years is common. About one in three asks for a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience in fintech, banking, or payments is preferred in many roles. The Fraud Analytics Lead Posting wants 2 or more years in fraud management and strong SQL. SQL repeats in fraud, collections, and data roles. Compliance roles want regulatory compliance experience in financial services, and AML knowledge is preferred.

Engineering Postings name Java, MySQL, Linux, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. The reliability roles name monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana. The Machine Learning Operations Posting wants Python and CI/CD pipelines for models. Security roles want knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and of security tests inside CI/CD pipelines.

Product roles want experience with Agile or Scrum teams and decisions made from data. The product manager Posting says that coding experience is not required. More than half of all Postings ask for stakeholder management, and more than half ask for analytical skills.
