What they do

Leegality makes software that helps Indian businesses do paperwork online. Businesses use it to eSign and eStamp documents, manage contracts, and stop document fraud. Its Consentin product helps businesses follow India's privacy law, the DPDP Act. More than 2000 businesses use Leegality, from HDFC and SBI Cards to Cars24. It started in 2016. It is not a law firm.

Where they hire

The Postings name only Indian cities. Leegality is remote first and hybrid. Teams meet at the Gurugram head office for one week each quarter. Thirteen roles name no city and are remote or hybrid. Three sales roles are hybrid in Gurugram, Mumbai, or Bengaluru. Three Consentin roles are on site and visit clients. No Posting mentions visa sponsorship.

Teams and roles

• Engineering: six roles. They are a Python backend engineer, a Python tech lead, a React frontend developer, a frontend tech lead, a machine learning engineer for document intelligence, and an API testing engineer.
• Consentin: four roles. They are an enterprise sales lead, an implementation specialist, a privacy solutions consultant, and a DevOps engineer. The DevOps engineer installs and runs the platform in customer data centers.
• Sales and partnerships: a business development representative, and a partnerships lead for banks and other financial companies.
• Marketing: a product marketing specialist, a copywriter, and a visual designer.
• Other roles: an associate product manager, a data analyst, a customer support executive, and an intern in talent acquisition.

What they look for

Most Postings ask for 1 to 4 years of experience. The frontend tech lead asks for 10 or more years, and the Python tech lead asks for 7 to 11. Twelve Postings ask for good communication. Seven Postings ask for skill with AI tools, and the culture page says that every team uses AI. Engineering Postings ask for Python with Django or Flask, or for ReactJS, and for AWS and CI/CD. Sales Postings ask for experience in selling B2B SaaS or tech products, to banks and lenders or to security heads. Five Postings prefer Hindi, and four of them say that fluent English is a must. Seventeen Postings say that hiring includes assessments, AI-enabled interviews, and in-person interviews.
