Engineering Postings ask for system design, testing, CI/CD, and agile work. Many ask for hands-on use of approved AI coding tools, such as Copilot or Claude Code, and the skill to check what those tools produce. A data scientist role asks for a science degree and 6 or more years. The forward deployed AI engineer role asks for 5 or more years and experience with large language models, retrieval, and AI agents. Finance roles ask for a degree in finance, economics, or accounting. The careers site says that in 2024, 80% of US jobs for experienced hires did not need a bachelor's degree.
