Jodo makes fee collection software for schools, colleges, and coaching centers in India. It sends fee reminders, offers installment plans, and matches payments to bank statements. Jodo says that it serves more than 5,000 institutes. Collect, a newer app, brings UPI Autopay and reminders to small businesses. Jodo started in 2020 and Tiger Global, Elevation Capital, and Z47 back it.

Where they hire

All seven Postings are in India, and five name Bengaluru. Two ambassador roles name Durgapur, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kozhikode, Chennai, Mysuru, and Gauribidanur. All roles are in the office or in the field, and no role is remote. The Bengaluru office is in Indiranagar. No Posting mentions visa sponsorship or the right to work.

Teams and roles

Five of the seven Postings are paid internships, and each of them can lead to a full-time role. Most roles are in sales, customer work, and analytics.

• Sales: a Business Development Executive onboards small businesses to Jodo payments by call and chat. A Collect Associate Intern finds and signs up small businesses for the Collect app.
• Jodo Ambassadors: interns in East and South India sell Jodo's education payment products at events and by phone. They are paid a stipend and incentives.
• Founder's Office: a product and analytics role works with the founders. It talks to customers, writes product requirements, and builds dashboards. An analytics intern works on pricing, sales incentives, and an automated bank reconciliation tool.
• Customer support: an intern answers customer questions by phone, email, and chat.

What they look for

The roles are for freshers and early careers, with zero to three years of experience. Every Posting asks for good communication. The Business Development Executive must speak Hindi. Other sales roles ask for English and a regional language such as Telugu or Kannada. Six Postings ask for a high sense of ownership. The two analytics roles ask for SQL, Python, or spreadsheets, and for use of AI tools. Four Postings ask for a bias for action.
