What they do

Iress makes software for the financial services industry. Financial advisers, wealth managers, investment managers, traders, lenders, and mortgage brokers use it. Its Postings say that more than 10,000 businesses use its software.

What they value

  • Solve together: curiosity and learning drive progress.
  • Own and deliver: be clear, accountable, and decisive.
  • Inclusion: every employee takes inclusion training.
  • Support for women in technology, as a WORK180 Endorsed Employer.

Where they hire

All 12 Postings are full time. Melbourne has five, Sydney four, Johannesburg four, and Cape Town one. Two roles list both Sydney and Melbourne. Ten Postings say that the role is hybrid, and no Posting is remote. The other two, in Johannesburg, offer flexible ways of working. No Posting mentions visa sponsorship or the right to work.

Australian roles are mostly in finance, risk, and engineering. South African roles serve trading, market data, and investment management clients.

What they look for

Nine Postings ask for clear communication. Six client and product Postings ask for knowledge of financial markets, trading, or investment management. The product owner and client relationship Postings ask for at least five years of experience, and the implementation Posting asks for three. Five Postings name certifications, such as CFA, CPA, CISA, or CBCP. The two engineering Postings ask for automated testing and CI/CD. Eleven Postings ask you to apply even if you do not meet every requirement.
