The company, in brief.
What they do
Infisical makes an open source security platform for developers and AI agents. Teams use it to manage application secrets, certificates, and privileged access across cloud, on-premises, and AI infrastructure. Secrets are credentials such as API keys and database passwords. Its Agent Vault gives AI agents access to tools and does not show them the real credentials.
What they value
- Connect: build trust with each other and with customers.
- Hack together: the best work happens across functions.
- Value invisible work: steady effort adds up over years.
- Find a way: take the best ideas from any title or seniority.
- Addicted to challenges: lean into hard problems.
- Drivers: take the lead and do not wait for perfect clarity.
Where they hire
Infisical works mostly as a remote team and keeps an office in San Francisco. Nine of ten open roles are remote, and most are in the United States. Engineering roles also accept Canada, Brazil, India, the UK, and the EU, on US hours. One sales role is in Germany. The executive assistant works on site in San Francisco.
Teams and roles
The board lists ten openings, and four of them are in sales.
- Sales: enterprise and commercial account executives who find and close new customers. One enterprise role is the first account executive for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. A solutions engineer runs proofs of concept, leads demos with account executives, and guides customers through onboarding.
- Engineering: a full stack engineer and a senior full stack engineer. They work with the CTO, talk directly to enterprise customers, and expand the newer product lines for certificates, privileged access, and key management. They also try new ways to apply AI to secrets management.
- Design: a design engineer who owns the infisical.com website, from its components to SEO, A/B tests, and analytics.
- Marketing: a field marketing manager who owns events. The work covers conferences such as KubeCon, RSAC, and AWS re:Invent, dinners with sales, and the webinar program.
- Talent: a technical recruiter who owns technical hiring from start to end.
- Operations: an executive assistant who supports the CEO and leadership team and manages the San Francisco office.
What they look for
Engineering roles ask for deep skill in React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript. Go is a plus. Infisical says it keeps its hiring standards for engineers very high, because engineers work on a wide range of problems. Engineering, design, and recruiting roles all ask for attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and a bias toward action. That means to decide with incomplete information and iterate quickly.
Sales roles ask for experience selling software to a technical audience and handling deals with many stakeholders. They also ask for experience building a sales process from the ground up. Most postings count experience with open source, security, infrastructure, or developer tools as a plus. The field marketing role asks for three to four years or more at a B2B SaaS company. The recruiter role asks for three years or more of technical recruiting.
Every posting says pay includes salary and equity. Two postings give a salary range: 100,000 to 180,000 US dollars for the design engineer and 120,000 to 150,000 US dollars for the field marketing manager. The postings do not describe the interview steps.
