Of 85 roles, 56 are in San Francisco and 22 are remote in the US. Six are in Bengaluru, one is in New York, and one is in Montreal. Office roles are hybrid, three days a week in the office. Remote physical therapists must give care from within the United States. The Postings say nothing about visa sponsorship.

Teams and roles

Hinge Health calls itself a startup inside a public company. It has about 1,500 employees and offices in San Francisco, Montreal, and Bangalore. The board lists 85 roles in five groups:

• R&D: 53 roles. Of these, 26 are senior and staff software engineers on product teams such as Visits, Growth, GI, and MSK Verticals. Others are AI, data, and security engineers. Bengaluru has six of these engineering roles. The group also has product managers, product designers, and a hardware team for firmware, electrical, and device software.
• Commercial: 14 roles. These are regional sales leaders for health systems, providers, mid market, and small business, plus client success managers and partnership managers.
• Operations: 9 roles. These include physical therapists, a dietitian, and a health coach on part-time Flex hours, and a care coordinator.
• Business Enablement: 6 roles in legal, finance, and recruiting.
• Clinical: 3 roles in clinical research, two health economists and a biostatistician.

Every Posting outside Bengaluru gives a pay range, and most include equity.

Senior software engineers in San Francisco need 3 or more years of full-time work, and some teams ask for 6 or more. Staff roles ask for 4 to 10 or more years. The stack is TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, React Native, Go, and AWS. Many engineering Postings ask for daily use of AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor. Bengaluru roles ask for 5 to 10 or more years with Node.js and TypeScript. They also ask for the use of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.

Physical therapist roles ask for a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and a license in at least one US state. They also ask for 2 to 4 years of orthopedic practice. They work 25 to 40 hours a week. Sales and client roles ask for 2 to 10 or more years, with healthcare or benefits experience preferred.
