Where they hire

Offices are in Santa Clara and Bangalore. Seventeen of the 27 Postings are hybrid in Bangalore. Six are in Santa Clara, and five of those are hybrid. Two sales roles are remote in US cities. Two remote Postings are student and creator programs, not jobs. No Posting mentions visa sponsorship. In-office roles get relocation support.

Teams and roles

Most India roles are in engineering, data, and design.

• Engineering: senior backend engineers in Bangalore and Santa Clara, a DevOps engineer on AWS with Terraform and Kubernetes, and an SDET who builds Playwright and SerenityJS test automation.
• Data: data engineers and a data engineering manager on StarRocks, Apache Hudi, Trino, and Spark. The team builds toward natural language querying for customers.
• Machine learning: a senior ML engineer works on Chakra, fraud detection in assessments, and ways to measure skill when AI writes the code. A senior AI data operations manager runs the pipeline for LLM training data.
• Customer experience engineering: L1 and L2 engineers debug customer issues with logs, SQL, and APIs. The L1 role is open to strong freshers.
• Forward deployed engineering: engineers in Bengaluru and Santa Clara lead pilots and demos onsite with customers.
• DevRel: DevRel engineers own the coding challenge library and a global network of experts who write challenges.
• Other roles: a Head of Design, a senior brand designer, a product analyst, and a talent acquisition partner in Bangalore. US roles include sales, account management, and IT.

What they look for

Most India engineering roles ask for 3 or more years of experience. The L1 customer experience role takes up to 3 years, and data leads ask for 6 or more. Many Postings ask for hands-on use of AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude. Many ask for comfort with ambiguity and for ownership from start to end. SQL and Python appear in data, analytics, and support roles. Postings ask for clear communication with customers and engineers. The hiring process has an application, interviews with the team and a HackerValues interview, then an offer. Technical roles can include an assessment. The careers page says it looks for impact and longevity in past roles.
