Furlenco calls itself a different furniture company. Urban Indians can rent, subscribe to, or buy furniture, decor, and appliances. Experts design all of its furniture in-house. Furlenco also buys its furniture back and gives credits for something new. It started in Bengaluru in 2011, and it now has offline stores too.

Where they hire

All 26 open roles are full-time, and 23 name a place in India. Nine are in Bengaluru, seven of them at the head office. Other roles are at warehouses in Mumbai, the Delhi NCR, Noida, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Jaipur. No posting offers remote work. The postings do not mention the right to work or visa sponsorship.

Teams and roles

Most roles are in the supply chain and in remanufacturing.

• Supply chain: last mile dispatch executives, a service executive, a planning analyst, a supervisor, and a quality associate.
• Remanufacturing: executives, associates, and a deputy manager who repair and refurbish returned furniture and appliances.
• Warehouse and control tower: inventory executives, and an executive who makes 150 to 200 calls a day to schedule deliveries.
• Sales: a telesales executive and a field sales executive for channel partners.
• Head office: digital marketing, growth analytics, finance, HR, an executive assistant to the CEO, and a QA automation engineer.

What they look for

Most roles ask for zero to four years of experience. The deputy manager for remanufacturing asks for five to eight years. Many postings ask for basic Excel or Google Sheets, often with VLOOKUP and pivot tables. Several ask for good spoken and written communication, and two ask for English and Hindi. Remanufacturing roles want a degree or diploma in engineering or a related field, and furniture experience is a plus. The QA and digital marketing roles ask you to use AI tools.
