EarnIn makes a mobile app for earned wage access. Members can get pay they already earned before payday, with no mandatory fees, interest, or credit checks. Cash Out gives up to $200 a day and $1,000 a pay period. The app also offers Early Pay, Balance Shield alerts, credit monitoring, and savings. EarnIn Payroll serves businesses.

Most of the 32 roles are in Mountain View, US (19). Others are in Bengaluru (5), Mexico City (3), remote in the US (3), Bangkok (1), and Vancouver (1). Most roles are hybrid, with two days a week in the office. Some engineering roles give no new visa sponsorship but take H-1B and O-1 transfers.

Teams and roles

EarnIn calls Mountain View its headquarters. It also has offices in Mexico City, Bengaluru, and Bangkok. Its funding partners include A16Z, Matrix Partners, DST, and Ribbit Capital. The board lists 32 roles. Engineering has 16 and Product has 7.

• Engineering: platform engineers build the "Paved Road", the base platform, on AWS, EKS, and ArgoCD, and add AI automation. Senior staff engineers shape the Identity and Trust platform, which covers sign-in, KYC (identity checks), and fraud. A Vancouver backend engineer works on Cash Out, which moves money over debit cards and the ACH and RTP bank transfer networks. A Developer Experience team in Mexico City builds AI tools for engineers. Three Workday HRIS (HR software) analyst roles also sit in Engineering.
• Product: product managers for the consumer app, for risk, and for the customer care platform. Product designers work in Bengaluru and on the Growth team in Mountain View.
• Other roles: an Assistant Treasurer, an M&A Analyst, and a Head of Communications who reports to the CEO. There are also credit risk and growth analysts, and an Office and People Specialist in Bangkok.

US Postings give a base salary range plus equity. For example, a Senior Staff Software Engineer has a base range of $279,000 to $341,000.

What they look for

Most senior roles ask for 4 or more years of experience. Staff roles ask for 7 or more. Senior staff engineers need 8 to 10 or more years. Many engineering roles expect daily use of AI tools such as Cursor and Claude Code. The Vancouver backend role asks for stories of how AI helped you ship faster. Platform roles ask for Kubernetes (EKS) on AWS. Several roles prefer fintech or regulated industry experience.

Every Posting says you can use AI tools in most interview rounds. If you use AI in a live interview, say so. Rounds about your career history do not allow AI.
