What they look for

Engineering postings ask for strong data structures, algorithms, and design skills, and a computer science degree or equivalent. Almost all ask for hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude. Vibe coding alone does not count. Engineers also mentor junior engineers. The interview has a recruiter meeting, the hiring manager, and a panel of three or four people. It takes about two to three weeks, mostly over Zoom.
