India has the most roles, in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and remote in India. Other roles are in Palo Alto, Austin, Europe, Australia, and remote in the US, Japan, and the Philippines. People work from an office and sometimes from home.

Teams and roles

Forward deployed engineer is the most common engineering role. These engineers build AI agents and integrations for customers in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python. About 30 percent of the work is with customers, and most of these roles travel up to 30 percent of the time.

• ML infrastructure: training and inference on Kubernetes with vLLM or SGLang.
• Data platform: the data behind the answers that Computer gives.
• Quality: test frameworks that use AI.
• Product: a senior product manager for the data and analytics platform, in Bangalore.
• Design: Arcade, the design system, with tokens, Figma plugins, and prototypes in code.

Sales and solution engineering roles are in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi NCR. Most engineering roles ask for a computer science degree.
