About Delinea

The company, in brief.

What they do

Delinea makes an identity security platform. It controls what people, machines, and AI agents can do on a company's systems, and for how long. It grows from privileged access management, the control of high-power accounts. It gives access just in time, when a task needs it, and keeps a record for audits. Its products include a password vault and StrongDM.

What they value

  • Spirited: energy and passion in everything.
  • Trust: act with integrity and keep commitments.
  • Respect: listen, value different views, and work as one team.
  • Ownership: take the first step and follow through.
  • Nimble: adapt quickly as things change.
  • Global: diverse people and ideas from almost 40 countries.

Where they hire

Of the 59 open roles, 24 are in Mexico City, mostly hybrid three days a week. Another 22 are remote in the United States. Others are home-based in the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, the Philippines, or Singapore, or in Boston or Washington, D.C. Five United States roles do not consider people who need work authorization, now or later.

Teams and roles

Delinea says TPG invested in it. Twenty of the 59 roles are in engineering, and most of them are in Mexico City. Fourteen are in sales. Other roles are in product management, cybersecurity, IT, support, customer success, marketing, and finance.

  • Senior Software Engineers on AI security: build the AI gateway that controls what AI agents do, and find AI agents in cloud systems.
  • Go developers: build StrongDM, which controls access to databases, servers, and Kubernetes clusters, and its proxy services.
  • .NET and Python backend engineers: build services and data features on the Delinea Platform, on Azure and Kubernetes.
  • Full-stack engineer: builds a browser extension in React and TypeScript.
  • Site reliability engineers: keep the cloud services running, including a FedRAMP High service. FedRAMP is a United States government security standard.
  • Product security engineers: review the security design of the products.

Every posting based in the United States or the United Kingdom gives a pay range. Some roles offer equity, and many offer a bonus.

What they look for

Senior engineers need five or more years of experience. The AI security roles ask for about eight or more years. Many engineering roles ask for a degree in computer science or a related field. They ask for a backend language such as Go, C#, Java, or Python. Many also ask for Azure or AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Security, identity, or privileged access experience is a plus. Several .NET roles ask for AI coding tools, such as Claude or Cursor.

The site reliability roles ask for five to nine or more years, tools such as Datadog, and on-call work that includes weekends. The Staff Product Security Engineer role asks for 12 years in cybersecurity, with seven in product security. Several roles ask for strong written English. The careers page asks people to apply even if they do not match every point.
