About Convin

The company, in brief.

What they do

Convin makes AI agents for the customer conversations of B2C businesses. One agent makes and answers phone calls. One guides human agents and their managers during live calls. One audits and scores every conversation. Companies use them for sales, support, collections, and compliance. Four IIT-Delhi graduates founded Convin in 2021.

What they value

  • Innovation: AI-driven solutions that drive results.
  • Empathy: understand every customer, team, and challenge.
  • Transparency: build trust through clarity and accountability.
  • Team spirit: grow together, driven by collective success.

Where they hire

Five of the seven open postings are in Bengaluru, India. The other two name no place in the location field, and the SDR posting says that the role is for India. Postings that state a work mode say work from the Bengaluru office. No posting mentions remote work, the right to work, or visa sponsorship.

Teams and roles

The board lists seven openings in five teams. All are in customer-facing, sales, product, and operations work. There are no engineering or design roles on the board.

  • Implementation: a project manager and a senior project manager. They run the setup of Convin for enterprise customers from kickoff to go-live. They work with the product and engineering teams on integrations, APIs, and deployments. The senior role also leads a team of project managers.
  • Customer success: a customer success manager who owns client retention, product adoption, and upsell, and meets client contacts each week. There is also a customer success intern, and that posting has no description.
  • SDR: a sales development representative who finds new business through research, LinkedIn, email, and cold calls, and qualifies inbound leads for the sales team.
  • Core product: a product management intern for six months. The intern manages the quality of LLM outputs, writes PRDs for features such as voicebots, and prototypes prompts and workflows.
  • Operations: a collections telecalling executive who calls customers with overdue payments, agrees a payment date and amount, and follows up.

Two postings list a learning allowance, a wellness allowance, and health and accident insurance.

What they look for

Most postings ask for strong communication skills. Three ask for comfort in a fast-paced environment. The project manager and customer success manager roles want two to four years of experience, and both name SaaS work. The senior project manager needs five to eight years, experience with Indian enterprise clients, and experience of leading a team. The SDR role prefers one to two years in lead generation or inside sales but does not require it.

Three postings name CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce. Three postings count experience with AI or conversation intelligence software as a plus.

The product management intern must use AI tools daily and show one AI project that they built. The posting asks for B.Tech students in their third or fourth year. The telecalling role needs prior collections or outbound calling experience, and fluent English, Hindi, and one regional language.

Two postings describe the hiring steps. The People and Culture team replies in four to five days if the profile fits. Then come a short call on role fit, an IQ round on problem solving, and a round with the founders or leadership. The customer success manager posting adds an assignment or case study.
