Cityflo runs air-conditioned buses for the daily ride between home and office. Riders book a seat in the app and track the bus live. The service runs in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Kolkata, with more than 20 million bookings a year. Cityflo also sells employee transport to companies and rents out buses.

Where they hire

All seven roles on the board are at the Mumbai office, which is in Wagle Estate, Thane. One HR role is also open in Gurgaon, and one control tower role is also open in Kolkata. The engineering roles on the careers site are on-site in Mumbai. No role is remote. The postings say nothing about work rights or sponsorship.

Teams and roles

The board lists operations, HR, and customer support roles. Cityflo calls its bus drivers Captains.

• Captain development: a senior HR associate who trains and onboards drivers, mainly for Delhi. An HR associate runs engagement and retention programs and handles grievances. A second HR associate handles driver onboarding documents, insurance, and HR records.
• Control tower: an associate who changes bus schedules, oversees the fleet from the center, and is the point of contact when operations go wrong.
• Route operations: an associate who coordinates drivers and fleet vendors, tracks buses in real time, and deals with delays and breakdowns.
• Auto rickshaw project: associates at Thane Station for a prepaid auto rickshaw service. Three coordinate drivers and three issue tickets and handle cash.
• Customer support: an associate who answers riders by chat, call, and email and works with Sage AI, the support assistant that Cityflo built. The posting lists pay of INR 18,000 to 35,000.

Engineering roles are on the careers site and not on the board. They are an AI engineer, an iOS engineer, a senior product engineer, a product engineer, a data scientist, and a QA engineer. The careers site also names corporate B2B, marketing, and finance as teams.

What they look for

The three HR roles ask for experience with blue-collar staff such as drivers or field teams. Two of them ask for four or more years in HR, and one takes graduates with zero to three years. Five of the seven postings ask for Excel skills. Four mention AI tools, as experience or as a willingness to learn them. Route operations asks for good knowledge of the roads in Mumbai and accepts freshers. One HR role asks for English, Hindi, and Marathi. The auto rickshaw roles work in shifts and prefer people who live near Thane.

Engineering candidates apply through the careers site with a coding agent such as Claude Code or Cursor. The agent fills the profile and completes a take-home assignment, and Cityflo reads the result and the session log. Most engineering roles ask for daily use of AI tools and the judgment to tell when the model is wrong.
