What they look for

Some Postings list required years for each skill. A software engineer role in Buenos Aires needs 5+ years of C#, and 2+ years each of Azure, Microsoft's cloud, and of relational databases. The data scientist role in Bengaluru asks for 5+ years of AI or ML models, Python, and a cloud AI service such as Azure Machine Learning or Databricks. The senior ML engineer needs 8 to 10 years. Bengaluru center roles work either 8 AM to 5 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Reservoir engineers need simulation software such as CMG or ECLIPSE. The drilling engineer in Venezuela must speak Spanish well. Operators in Ningbo who run furnaces and boilers must hold a valid certificate for the job. About half of the Postings ask for behavior in line with the Chevron Way, the values of the company.
