The company, in brief.
What they do
Blueland makes household cleaning products as tablets and powders. Customers use them directly or mix them with tap water. The packaging is compostable or recyclable, and no product uses single-use plastic. Blueland sells on Blueland.com and at Target, Costco, Whole Foods, and some local retailers. It holds 45 patents and is a certified B Corp.
What they value
- Start with why: create solutions that put people and planet first.
- Move mountains: do the work that everyone else thinks is impossible.
- Go farther together: champion people inside and outside the company.
- Make waves: push the industry and individuals to more sustainable choices.
Where they hire
The board has five open postings, and it marks all of them as remote in the US. Three give Remote as the place. Two give New York, NY, and for those Blueland strongly prefers people who can work from its New York office. The postings say nothing about the right to work or visa sponsorship.
Teams and roles
Three of the five open postings are in Supply Chain and Operations. The board lists no engineering, product, or design roles now.
- Supply Chain and Operations: a demand planner who owns SKU-level forecasts across direct-to-consumer, retail, and marketplace channels, and leads the demand consensus process. A supply chain manager plans supply and inventory for the marketplace channel, mostly Amazon, with contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers. Both report to the Director of Supply Chain. A senior manager owns packaging from technical concept to procurement, and owns the supplier strategy for packaging.
- Brand Marketing: a senior manager who owns campaigns, product launches, creator work, and partnerships, and is the daily contact for agency and PR partners.
- Data: a contract analytics engineer, 40 hours a week from December 2026 to May 2027, who covers a leave. The work is dashboards and LookML in Looker, sales pacing, and data QA with an external data vendor.
Each posting states its pay. The four full-time roles give salary ranges between $110,000 and $150,000 per year, and the contract role pays $150 to $175 per hour. Full-time benefits include health benefits, stock options, paid parental leave, a 401k, and remote work reimbursements.
What they look for
The roles are for experienced people. The postings ask for five to seven or more years, and the brand role asks for four to six or more. Four of the five postings want a background in consumer products, such as CPG, direct-to-consumer, or e-commerce. The supply chain roles want experience across direct-to-consumer, Amazon, and retail channels. The supply chain manager needs five or more years of direct Amazon supply chain experience. Analytical skill and clear communication repeat across the postings, and so does the ability to work with little direction when plans change quickly. The data role needs SQL, Looker, and Snowflake. The supply chain manager needs advanced Google Sheets and Excel. Two postings name AI tools: the brand role wants curiosity about AI and automation, and the data role lists familiarity with Claude. Blueland encourages people to apply even if they do not meet every qualification. The postings do not describe the interview steps.
