About BigID

The company, in brief.

What they do

BigID sells one platform for data security, privacy and compliance automation, and AI governance. It finds and classifies data, manages who can access it, and helps secure data used in AI systems. Its AgentIQ platform uses AI agents for data tasks. Fiserv is a named customer. BigID started in 2016.

What they value

  • Care: about the world, each other, customers, and work that matters.
  • Do: take ownership and make a positive impact.
  • Try: explore new ideas, learn fast, and do not give up.
  • Shine: celebrate differences and bring your strengths to the team.
  • Talented colleagues who value innovation, diversity, integrity, and collaboration.

Where they hire

Three roles are in Tel Aviv and are hybrid. Six are in the US: two remote on the East Coast, and one each in the Washington DC area, the West, Minnesota, and Ohio. US sales and services postings call BigID remote-first. The federal role needs US citizenship and an active Secret clearance. One services role offers no visa sponsorship.

Teams and roles

BigID's careers page lists offices in New York, Tel Aviv, Miami, London, São Paulo, Lisbon, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Sydney, Chennai, Toronto, and Singapore. Its postings call it a startup and say it ranked first in security on Forbes America's Best Startup Employers 2026. The board lists nine roles and a general talent pool.

  • Field sales: three regional sales managers in the West, Minnesota, and Ohio who sell to large companies and their security, data, and privacy leaders.
  • Product: a principal product manager for AI security and a senior product manager for AgentIQ, both in Tel Aviv.
  • Customer engineering: a federal deployment engineer installs BigID in restricted and air-gapped networks. An air-gapped network has no link to the internet. A professional services engineer sets BigID up for customers. A staff support engineer handles the hardest customer issues in a 25-person support team.
  • Engineering: a DevOps engineer in Tel Aviv who works on CI/CD and Kubernetes. CI/CD builds, tests, and releases code automatically.

US postings give a base pay range, for example $150,000 to $165,000 for the sales managers.

What they look for

Years asked range from three or more for professional services to seven or more for the principal product manager and the staff support engineer. Most technical roles ask for Docker and Kubernetes, a major cloud such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and Python or another programming language. The DevOps role asks for Hebrew and English, and for experience using AI agents and LLM tools in operations. An LLM is a large language model.

The product roles ask for hands-on work with LLMs and agent workflows, or senior product work in cybersecurity. Both ask for a computer science degree or say it is preferred. Sales roles ask for five or more years of enterprise software sales and a record of closing six- and seven-figure deals. Data security sales experience is a plus. The federal role asks for five years across presales and software development, and work with US federal agencies.
